COURIER Job #233

Position Type:   PRN position, Monday – Friday, various shifts and routes.

Primary Function:  Under the general direction of the department manager, is responsible for delivering reports and supplies to our clients and transporting specimens to the laboratory.

TRANSCRIPTIONIST – JOB #315 (NEW POSITION)

Position Type:   Full-time (30 hours per week), 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (may vary)

Location:  Anatomic Pathology Lab, Clarkston, Washington

Primary Function:  Preparation of gross dictation which includes checking for patient prior history and correlating cytology/histology material.Type bone marrows, autopsies, letters and typing procedures received from Lewiston Lab. Assist lead transcriptionist with typing microscopic dictation on tissues as needed. Help with answering phones and other secretarial/clerical and billing duties when needed. Cross train for histology technician position.

Information Systems Manager

Position Type:  Full-time

Location: Lewiston Idaho

Primary Function:  Be dedicated in supporting the regional community by helping PRL become the laboratory provider of choice by offering high quality results using cutting edge technology, superior customer service, and tailored information system solutions. Demonstrate excellence, honesty/integrity, mutual respect/teamwork, compassion, commitment to staff and patient safety, continuous improvement, ongoing education and training, collegial work environment, and stewardship of resources. The information services manager under the direction of the lab manager and pathologists' is responsible for the planning, oversight, and supervision of the development, deployment, daily operations, and maintenance of the information systems (IS) used by Pathologists Regional Laboratories. The information services manager also plans, directs, supervises, problem solves and educates staff to efficiently and effectively utilize information systems and distribute results of laboratory tests.

Phlebotomist, Position #223

Position Type:  Full-time, various shifts including rotating weekends and holidays

Location: PRL located in Tri-State Memorial Hospital

Primary Function:  Collect blood from patients, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of patient following established standards and practices.

Phlebotomist, Position #260

Position Type: Full-time position working various shift plus rotating holidays and weekends.

Location: Various laboratory drawing sites.

Primary Function: Collect blood from patients, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of patient following established standards and practices.

Phlebotomist, Position #30

Position Type:  Part-time position working Monday, Wednesday and Friday (may work less than two hours per day but you will be paid for at least two hours) 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Location: State Hospital North, Orofino, Idaho

Primary Function:  Collect blood from patients, check quality of blood and assume responsibility for safety and comfort of patient following established standards and practices.
