The general manager plans, directs, supervises, problem solves, controls and motivates staff to efficiently and effectively market laboratory services, prepare and successfully execute the budget, perform analysis and report results of laboratory tests.

Position Type:  Full-time, Monday- Friday plus call and weekends when necessary.

Location:  Office located in Lewiston, Idaho

Primary Function:  The Information Services Manager directs the conception, planning and execution of all information systems projects of major scope and importance to the organization. Responsible for the exploration of subject area, definition, selection of problems for investigation, and the development of novel design concepts and approaches. These functions include application development and implementation, business evaluations, cost justifications, feasibility studies, functional analysis, production support, maintenance, and organizational needs analysis for all applications and projects. Has final technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. The IS Manager provides consulting services to external institutions as needed to support the overall mission of PRL. The IS Manager reports to the General Manager, and serves as a senior member of the executive staff. Participates in all strategic planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and re-engineering activities.
