Marketing Associate (temp)

Primary Function:
Promote and execute Pathologists’ Regional Laboratory’s (PRL) marketing and communications initiatives. Promote PRL’s brand through managing social media platforms and producing marketing materials for a variety of audiences, including existing and potential clients, patients, and employees.
Work Performed:
▪ Follow and demonstrate PRL’s core values, which includes mutual respect and teamwork, a collegial work environment, and commitment to staff and patient safety.
▪ Understand and adhere to all safety and HIPAA related standards to ensure high quality patient care.
▪ Communicate in a professional manner, maintaining client/patient confidentiality.
▪ Collaborate with department and laboratory staff to maintain harmonious working relationships among employees.
▪ Works with Compliance Officer on issues pertaining to Medicare/Medicaid regulations to assure 100% compliance.
▪ Create and communicate various marketing materials for specific audiences.
▪ Ability to learn and act as a resource in educating medical office staff regarding PRL services and testing capabilities.
▪ Develop a database and pipeline of qualified leads for new business, including communicating face to face or cold calling appropriate targets.
▪ Develop and track marketing campaign performance and engagement through data analytics.
▪ Manage and maintain social media with content calendar and scheduling for Facebook, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.
▪ Assist with updating company website.
▪ Limited travel to client or prospective client sites may be required.
▪ Perform other duties as assigned to support marketing and communication objectives.
Experience Background:

▪ Strong organizational and project management skills.
▪ Superior customer service skills.
▪ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or other related software.
Experience Background:
▪ 1-3+ years of experience in marketing, communications or creative production (preferred).
▪ Healthcare or laboratory marketing experience (preferred).
Educational Background:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent (preferred).
▪ Valid driver’s license (required).
