Handling: Test is for 2 hours with specimens collected fasting, 1/2 hr, 1 hr, 1 1/2 hr and 2 hr. Glucose and Insulin will be performed and an Insulin Resistance Score calculated.
Patient must be fasting 8-10 hours prior to test and remain fasting for the duration.
Do not use hemolyzed specimens.
Volume: 1.0 ml heparinized plasma for each test
